On the December 2006 cover of Government Executive magazine the front cover was of a young woman dressed nicely but adorned with a nose piercing and ear piercings. Interviews were taken about this picture, and many people said that they didn't notice the nose ring because she looked so professional and proper. However, this magazine cover also received bad press.
